What you receive

Documents, calculations and schedules — not slideware.

Deliverables are confirmed per project. Items noted “as applicable” are included when the scope, system type and jurisdiction call for them.

DWG

Permit & 2D CAD drawings

Coordinated plan sheets, risers, details, legends, symbols and notes prepared for permitting, installation and coordination.

CALC

Calculation packages

Battery and voltage-drop, pipe-flow and transport-time, and intelligibility calculations, as applicable to the scope.

I/O

Sequence of Operations

Input-output matrices and functional matrices documenting intended system behavior and interfaces.

BOM

Bill of Materials

Complete device, equipment and interface counts with schedules organized by floor, area or system.

SUB

Data submittal books

Organized product data with highlighted part numbers and applicable listing documentation such as CSFM.

IDP

Installation data packs

Aspirating smoke-detection isometrics, sampling-network documentation and installation support material.

RFI

Assumptions, exclusions & RFIs

Clearly documented assumptions, exclusions, clarification items and RFI recommendations for unresolved scope.

QA

Principal review record

Technical QA/QC by the principal designer before issue, with PE review where required and legally authorized.

Supporting scopes

How a project runs

A disciplined four-step path to a reviewable package.

  1. 01

    Review

Project documents, specifications, jurisdiction, system requirements, deliverables and schedule are reviewed and confirmed in writing.

  2. 02

    Design

Device layouts, pathways, risers, details and schedules are developed against the applicable code basis and manufacturer criteria.

  3. 03

    Calculate

Battery, voltage-drop, pipe-flow, transport-time and intelligibility calculations are prepared as applicable to the scope.

  4. 04

    Coordinate

Interfaces with mechanical, elevator, sprinkler, security and electrical scopes are coordinated and documented, as applicable.

  5. 05

    Deliver

The package is issued with documented assumptions and exclusions, followed by response support within the agreed scope.
